Our 7 day Sanbona Safari and Cape Town program combines the best of the bush and the ocean, allowing our guests to see both the Big 5 and the Marine Big 5. On your 7-day trip to South Africa you will experience sunset safaris with the big cats, morning encounters with African penguins, see herds of elephant feed right on your doorstep and, in season, observe the giants of the ocean, the southern right whales.
A personal tour guide will pick you up from the airport and you’ll make your way to the Cape Grace Hotel at the world famous V&A Waterfront. The next four days are then spent in the lap of luxury, enjoying the iconic sights and sounds of Cape Town and surrounds, including Table Mountain, Robben Island, The Cape of Good Hope, the Boulders Beach Penguin Colony, the Stellenbosch winelands and the many iconic beaches. As an optional extra, you can also cage-dive with great white sharks!
After four nights in Cape Town, we will transport you directly to the majestic Sanbona Game Reserve (three hours drive from Cape Town). Here you will spend the next two nights experiencing the little Karoo with its unique vegetation and abundance of wildlife in the reserve. Your whole holiday will be malaria free and avoiding malaria areas will cut down on travel times.
On the last day of your trip, you are chauffeured to the airport after an early morning game drive through the Sanbona reserve and a leisurely breakfast.

You will be met by a representative at Cape Town International Airpchauffeur will chauffer you to your hotel. After a short city orientation and sunset cocktails off Signal Hill, you will have the evening to explore the world famous V&A Waterfront or dine at one of Cape Town’s top restaurants (which we will reserve on request).
Today you take in some of the world famous sights that has made Cape Town one of the top tourist destinations in the world. The Cape of Good Hope where the Two Oceans meet, spectacular Chapman’s Peak and the Penguin Colony at Boulders Beach. Tonight you have dinner at one of Cape Town’s premier restaurants, either the Test Kitchen or La Colombe.
We start our day going up one of the New Seven Natural Wonders, Table Mountain. The cable car, that rotates 360 degrees, takes you up to 1067m above sea level for a breathtaking view of the city and surrounds. Then it’s off to the Cape Winelands, where we will taste wines at 2 or 3 of the region’s premier estates, visit historic Stellenbosch and enjoy lunch at the highly rated Babel or Delaire Graff restaurants.
Your final day in Cape Town can be enjoyed at leisure, or we can arrange a number of optional activities for you. These include scootours off Table Mountain, hiking Lions Head or maybe just a day at the beach!
Your personal tour guide will transport you to the start of your luxury African safari adventure at Sanbona Wildlife Reserve (three hours drive). Arriving in time for lunch, you will have your first game drive later in the afternoon, before dinner and lights out.
Look forward to an early start for a game drive in the reserve, followed by a decadent and sumptuous breakfast. You will have the opportunity to go for a bush walk or simply relax at the spa, on the deck or at the pool. Another spectacular game drive in the afternoon will be followed by dinner in the traditional boma.
Time to say goodbye! Your morning game drive is followed by a leisurely breakfast before your guide transports you back to Cape Town for your afternoon/evening flight.
