Luxury Safaris South Africa leverages our industry knowledge and connections to do in-house training of promising youngsters from disadvantaged backgrounds to improve their industry readiness.
Our primary intervention is a localised bridging academy for disenfranchised youth. We train youngsters from the local townships with a practical four week boot camp on our premises, whereafter we help them find internship and employment opportunities within our local networks in inbound travel.
This initiative has met with great success, and we are busy with our fourth class! Check out what Bootcampers 2.0 have to say below:
We have successfully place the crew from Boot Camp 3.0, the July intake for 4.0 have been the most proficient learners yet. Industry participation has been amazing as we embrace our quest for skills development and diversity. The Luxury Safaris team has take turns to volunteer as mentors and trainers, and PG has taken it upon himself to champion the cause at a national industry level as well as get involved with similar programs such as Khwela in order to explore synergies.
